Purpose of the One Conference

The One Conference is focused on providing learning experiences that encourage the growth of practice for educators, specifically as it relates to adopting instructional strategies that incorporate the use of digital tools and resources to promote meaningful learning experiences.

This conference is about students and professionals taking ownership of their learning. As educators we set the tone for learning by serving as learners ourselves, and our kids see/experience that. Part of setting that tone is offering learners a wide variety of ways to engage, learn, and share what they know. Through creation learners establish their unique voice and further commit to learning

Conference Goals

  • Focus on celebrating School District of Waukesha staff engaged in making a difference with and for students.
  • Provide meaningful learning experiences that are focused around great instructional practices supported by integrated technology tools and resources.
  • Offer engaging professional learning that leads to enhanced instructional practice.
